TO THE PEOPLES CUBE : )

THIS ONE GOES OUT TO THE ONE I LOVED;

THE PEOPLE'S CUBE, YOU REPRESENT A DYING BREED OF INTOLERANCE. THE SHEER FACT THAT YOUR SITE EXISTS DOES LITTLE MORE THAN ILLUSTRATE YOUR OWN ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THIS FACT, HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE FREE-FALLING TO THE EARTH FROM YOUR HEAVEN ABOVE WITHOUT A CHUTE.

THE THING THAT'S REALLY FUNNY ABOUT YOU AND YOUR DISDAIN (MORE SPECIFICALLY, FOR COMMUNISM) IS THAT SOCIALISM IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN AMERICA WHETHER YOU WANT IT OR NOT. IT'S NOT COMING FROM A BLOODY REVOLUTION, AND IT'S NOT BRINGING WITH IT AN EVIL DICTATOR. NO, ON THE CONTRARY, DEMOCRACY WILL SEE TO IT'S AMERICAN BIRTH. YOU SEE, DEMOCRACY HAS ALWAYS STOOD FOR THE PEOPLE.
(BY THE WAY, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CLINTON TAKING THAT $$$ ONLY TO TURN AROUND AND MAKE YOU LICK HER ASS WITH IT?)

THE PROBLEM THROUGHOUT THE AGES HAS BEEN MINDLESS CROSS WEARING, FLAG-WAVING, ABSTINENCE-ONLY PUSSIES LIKE YOURSELVES WHO RELY ON THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF RELIGION OR POLITICAL POWER TO KEEP THE PEOPLE AT BAY (NOT TO MENTION YOUR NOISE-MACHINE).

FELLAS, SOCIALIZED HEALTH CARE WON'T TAKE AWAY YOUR FREEDOMS. I'M SURE THE GOVERNMENT WILL ALLOW YOU TO PAY YOUR SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR FOR INADEQUATE HEALTH CARE WHEN THE TIME COMES. WHAT REALLY MATTERS IS THAT YOU DO KNOW IT'S COMING. THAT REMINDS OF SOMETHING I HEARD BACK IN 2000; IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS COUNTRY AND IT'S ELECTED GOVERNMENT THEN YOU'RE ANTI-AMERICAN AND YOU SHOULD JUST GET THE FUCK OUT.

JUST KIDDING GUYS!!!
WE CAN ALWAYS USE A JESUS-FREAK AS TARGET PRACTICE FOR THE N.W.O. ARMY. I TELL YA WHAT, WHY DON'T YOU AND THE REST OF YOUR VIRGIN BUDDIES MOVE YOUR CLUBHOUSE ON OUT TO NEW MEXICO, YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO LAY EYES ON A VAGINA OR AN EDUCATED HUMAN THERE. IN FACT TAKE FRED PHELPS WITH YOU (HE COULD USE SOME MALE BONDING) AND WHEN THE TIME COMES TO FIRE AWAY, WELL I GUESS THE DESSERT CAN TAKE CARE OF THE TRASH.

THANK YOU SINCERELY FOR VOTING BUSH AND MAKING THIS TRANSITION POSSIBLE, YOU REALLY DO OWE YOURSELVES A GREAT BIG PAT ON THE BACK.

GOD BLESS YOU

The Waiting Game

Here's a little something taken from the NY Times.

A recent article in Business Week put it bluntly: “In reality, both data and anecdotes show that the American people are already waiting as long or longer than patients living with universal health-care systems.”

I'm sure that all you red-tie wearing homophobs don't have much to add.

HELP!!!!!!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N08sudptGw

I'm a patriot so I know how to tell who else is, my dog, my brother, my dad, Dick Cheney...well hell I'll just give ya my method of determination.

Hi, my name is George Dubbya Bush, and I'd like to clear up this whole mess about who's patriotic and who isn't.

1. If you go to war for America, your patriotic.
2. If you don't like war, your un-patriotic, or French.
3. If you die for this country, your patriotic.
4. If you go to war for America but didn't like the war, your a dirty traitor.
5. If you like the war but didn't go, your either a baptist inbred, or your one rich S.O.B.
6. If you die for this country but then your mommy gets mad and starts yelling at me all the time, your an asshole.
7. Oh yeah, and if by chance you believe everyone has the right to health-care regardless of how rich their daddy's are, then you're a dirty pinko swine that hates freedom, freedom fries, freedom tater tots, and freedom pie.
one more thing; if you're Michael Moore, I just got a call from enemy and the enemy said thanks for embolded ning him. Way to go Mike, he was bold and now he's em-bold-ed. You're pouring water on a gremlin and feeding him after midnight while the old man at the shop strictly prohibited that sort of thing. Hell between you Colbert, Stewart, Black, and that Bono guy, the enemy will have the strength of Captain Planet by this time next week, how in the fuck do you expect me to deal with Captain Planet!!
....Hmm, maybe I'd better call Al Gore.

Pledging independent leadership to move Kansas forward, in 2003 Kathleen Sebelius became the 44th Governor of the State of Kansas. Governor Sebelius was reelected to a second term in 2006.

At the heart of Governor Sebelius’ administration is a commitment to growing the Kansas economy to create jobs; ensuring every Kansas child has an effective – and efficient – school; protecting Kansas families and communities; making health care more affordable; and taking advantage of the state’s renewable energy potential. In 2005, Time magazine named her one of the nation’s top five governors.

Through a commitment to making the Kansas business climate more attractive to businesses – and by balancing the state budget without raising taxes – the Kansas economy has rebounded and created thousands of new jobs. The Governor also made cutting waste in government a priority, and moves such as selling 700 unneeded state cars have added up to more than $1 billion savings and efficiencies during her term.

Because good schools equal good jobs and a growing economy, Governor Sebelius has made improving public schools a priority. During her first term the state made a historic commitment to Kansas’ schoolchildren, as well as undertaking audits to ensure the resources Kansas spends on schools are being used in the most efficient manner possible.

Another important responsibility is to keep Kansas communities safe. That’s why the Governor pushed for a law that makes it harder to get the ingredients that go into meth, and why her administration works with local law enforcement to prepare for natural disasters and other emergencies. Governor Sebelius has called for – and signed into law – tougher jail terms for sexual predators and a minimum marriage age.

Since the rising cost of health care is a threat to families and businesses, which is why the Governor is working to lower health costs, starting with the 30% of every health care dollar that goes to administrative costs. She’s also proposed providing health insurance to every uninsured Kansas child from birth to age five in order to give these children a healthy start on life.

Finally, Sebelius believes Kansas must take advantage of its enormous potential for renewable energy production. She’s working with business and community leaders, utilities, and local governments to promote wind energy and biofuels production in Kansas, as well as expanded energy conservation efforts.

In 2006, Governor Sebelius was elected chair of the Democratic Governors Association. She also chairs the Education Commission of the States, as well as serving on the National Governors Association’s Executive Committee.

Kathleen Sebelius has been married to her husband, Gary, a federal magistrate judge, for 32 years. They have two sons: Ned, age 25 and John, age 22. Both Sebelius boys are products of the Topeka public school system, pre-Kindergarten through high school. Ned is a law student, and John recently graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design. Sebelius is the first daughter of a Governor (John Gilligan, Ohio, 1971-1975) in U.S. history to be elected to that same position.

Kathleen Sebelius - Brief Biography

(Suitable for introductions)

Kathleen Sebelius was sworn in as the 44th Governor of Kansas in January 2003, and just under three years later, Time magazine named her one of the nation’s top five governors, citing her work to cut waste in government and bridge the partisan divide. Governor Sebelius was reelected to a second term in 2006.

A hallmark of Sebelius’ first term was the historic commitment made to Kansas schoolchildren, as well as audits to ensure those resources were being spent effectively. She also led efforts to create jobs and improve the safety and security of Kansans. These initiatives continue in her second term, with helping more families afford health insurance and taking advantage of Kansas’ opportunities in renewable energy being key priorities as well.

In 2006, Governor Sebelius was elected chair of the Democratic Governors Association. She also chairs the Education Commission of the States, as well as serving on the National Governors Association’s Executive Committee.

Sebelius served four terms in the Kansas House of Representatives, two terms as the state’s insurance commissioner, and is the first daughter of a U. S. governor to serve in that same position.

Kathleen has been married to her husband, Gary, a federal magistrate judge, for 32 years, and they have two sons: Ned and John, both college graduates.

Our Mission: Single-Payer National Health Insurance

Greg Silver, MD (Fl.)

The U.S. spends twice as much as other industrialized nations on health care, $7,129 per capita. Yet our system performs poorly in comparison and still leaves 47 million without health coverage and millions more inadequately covered.

This is because private insurance bureaucracy and paperwork consume one-third (31 percent) of every health care dollar. Streamlining payment though a single nonprofit payer would save more than $350 billion per year, enough to provide comprehensive, high-quality coverage for all Americans.

The Physicians' Proposal

Marcia Angell, MD
Past Editor
New England
Journal of Medicine

We endorse a fundamental change in America's health care - the creation of a comprehensive National Health Insurance (NHI) Program. Such a program - which in essence would be an expanded and improved version of Medicare - would cover every American for all necessary medical care.
